"With the ever-increasing proliferation of the electronic media, images have become. the currency of communication in today’s world. The transience of the television image. is symmetrically balanced by the permanence of the print media. This then forms the point of departure of my paintings. In representing the images this way, I intentionally subvert the original perspective and transform them into a world of imagined possibilities"
